Families and kids of all ages can have a fun and FREE night “trick-or-treating” around the warning track at Fenway.
Trick-or-treating will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on October 31. The outfield will be adorned with Halloween decorations as costumed staff hand out candy. Wally the Green Monster will be present, along with the three World Series trophies, balloon artists, face painters, caricaturists, and stilt walker “Big League Brian.” Hi-Chew will donate candy for the event. Costumes are encouraged.
Fans are also invited to enter their carved pumpkins into a contest at the ballpark on Thursday, October 29. On the 29th, fans can drop off their pre-carved pumpkins from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to be judged in a contest. Members of the Red Sox front office will act as judges, and prizes will be awarded to the top three pumpkins. The winning pumpkins will be announced on Friday, October 30. All pumpkins will be on display in the outfield on Halloween when it will be transformed into a haunted pumpkin patch.
Both trick-or-treating and the pumpkin contest are free and open to the public.
Fans can enter the ballpark through Gate C for both the pumpkin contest on October 29, and to trick-or-treat on October 31.
