Check out the Institute of Contemporary Art – better known as the ICA – on the Boston waterfront on Thursday nights from 5 to 9 p.m. Admission for all at this museum is FREE during these ICA Free Thursday Nights. A relatively new addition to the Boston cultural scene, this museum spotlights contemporary art in all its forms – paintings, sculpture, photography, music, film, video, and performances. Throughout the year, the ICA offers a variety of programming and activities for all ages. The ICA’s building itself is a work of contemporary architectural art, offering spectacular views of Boston Harbor.

And this Saturday, December 9, the ICA hosts its quarterly ICA Harbor Market, an indoor marketplace featuring local vendors, pop-ups, and more. to the Seaport. This FREE event runs 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Treats will be offered from a variety of local purveyors including Union Square Donuts, Aeronaut Brewing and Bon Me. Emjoy the hot cocoa bar as you make art and listing to caroling.
Holiday shopping will also be available with candles, jewerly, clothing and more for sale.
