Want to enjoy a Sox game from somewhere other than your living room couch, but can’t afford to near fortune it’d cost to bring the family, get some snacks,and have a night at the park? Well, thanks to the Highland Street Foundation you can do just that. You know the Highland Street Foundation, they bring FREE Fun Fridays every summer.
This summer they’re launching Out of the Park. Its a new event where you can bring a blanket, enjoy FREE refreshments, see Wally, listen to a live announcer and DJ and enjoy the game on a big screen outside at one of 3 of our lovely parks.
The schedule is:
- Sunday, May 25 at 1:40 pm – Ramsay Park, Jim Rice Field, 1917 Washington St., Roxbury
- Sunday, June 22 at 4:05 pm – Franklin Park, The Playstead, 25 Pierpont Road, Dorchester
- Sunday, July 27 at 1:40 pm – Boston Common–Corner of Charles and Beacon Streets
