With all the snow that just hit us, this weekend is ideal for skiing and snowboarding. If you’re itching to hit the slopes, plan for Sunday. Yes, I know its the Superbowl, but that’s at night and ski resorts notoriously offer good deals because they know its a slow day for them. What does that mean for you? Less crowds & Cheaper Prices.
You can go directly through many ski resorts and find discounts. None of these require coupons or advanced ticket purchases:
- Attitash/Wildcat – $39
- Cannon – 2 for $74 (even if you’re going by yourself, you can always find another single person at the mountain to take advantage of this deal with–my husband does it all the time)
- Mt Sunapee – Ski from noon to 4:00pm for just $45
In addition, Liftopia, the largest online marketplace for discounted ski lift tickets and mountain activities, has launched its annual Game Day Sale with exclusive discounts of up to 80% off at ski areas all over New England. Most tickets must be purchased no later than Saturday January 31st to get the deal. In a quick glance, I saw ski lift prices like this:
- Waterville Valley – $49
- Cranmore – $39
- Smugglers Notch – $46
- Crotched Mountain – $52
- Bousquet – $22
