Harvard Scare in Harvard Square this weekend

The Harvard Square Business Association invites all ghouls, goblins, witches and their friends to Harvard Scare for a weekend of wicked good fun!  There’ll be movies, parties, and of course, tricks and treats, and more.

Here are just a few of the Harvard Scare events:

BoConcept
BoConcept Cambridge -Urban Danish Design, HRH King Hamlet of Denmark (Ghost) will be sitting in our Regal Harvard Chair on our front window giving away Royal Danish chocolates from the house of Anthon Berg (by appointment to the royal Danish court)! You can the ghostly royal on Sunday October 30th and Monday October 31st from 4:00 -6:00 pm. BoConcept will also be offering plenty of treats throughout the weekend.

Dado Tea
Dado Tea will be giving out candy Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

El Jefe’s Taqueria

From October 28th – 31st, El Jefe’s Taqueria will have choco flan in Halloween colors, pumpkin horchata and will be giving out candies for Trick or Treaters all weekend long. On November 2nd, we’re having a Day of the Dead/1year celebration from 5-8pm.

Harvard COOP
Join us for a Halloween Festival, Saturday, October 29th from 1pm – 3pm. Games, crafts, pumpkin decorating, face painting, trick or treat trail, snacks and MORE. Come in Costume. 
*Ages 8 and under; Event will be on Palmer Street weather permitting; Rain Location: Lower Level Book Building

New School of Music
The New School of Music will be holding their annual “Trick or Treat to the Beat” event on Saturday, 10/29, from 5-6:30 pm. There will be trick-or-treating in the studio spaces, a Halloween sing-along, and an instrument petting zoo. This event is usually popular and best for families with children.

Origins
Come by Origins and enjoy some Witches Brew and pick a Spooktacular sample bag from their Jackolantern.

the red house
the red house will be running 50 cent Island Creek Oyster from noon till 6 pm and a $ 1 after that throughout Harvard Scare weekend.

Robert Paul Properties
Come to Robert Paul Properties on Friday, October 28th from 4pm to 8pm for candy, fun costumes and spooky music.

Salt & Olive
Salt & Olive will be doing hot sauce tastings all Harvard Scare weekend. Try the Zombie Repellent Hot Sauce and the Dragon Repellent Hot Sauce! There will be plenty of candy given away on Monday, October 31st.

Shake Shack
Shake Shack will be offering the Shackenstein Milkshake, made with chocolate cake and marshmallow all weekend. On Monday, they will be handing out candy to all trick or treaters!
