It’s not too late to get in on this yummy event. Sunday April 10th is the final day of Wilson Farm’s Grilled Cheese Weekend.
The event is a fundraiser for the Pan Mass Challenge. There will be 7 different grilled cheese offering to sample between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm, but if my experience from day one tells us anything, its that some sandwiches go fast and could be replaced with others, so you may want to get their early if you can.
The ways it works is you buy tickets–$2 for 3 or $3 for 5 and each sample costs 1 ticket. A sample is roughly 1/4 to 1/2 a sandwich. We bought 5 to start and bought 3 more for a total of $8 and ended up with a total of about 4 sandwiches between me and my daughter. Not a bad deal.
A few of Sunday’s sandwiches include a Mac & Cheese Grilled Cheese, a French Onion Soup Grilled Cheese, and a Spinach Artichoke Grilled Roulade. Plus they’re giving away FREE samples of Backyard Farms Cocktail tomatoes and Tomato Soup.
