Looking to change up your curriculum a bit? Add something new the kids will enjoy and learn from? Once a month Lakeshore Learning Store in Newton hosts a FREE 1 hour teacher workshop.
Lakeshore is dedicated to creating innovative educational materials that spark young imaginations, instill a sense of wonder and foster a lifelong love of learning. With materials for infants and toddlers through the 6th grade, they help children reach developmental milestones and achieve educational goals—while still having fun!
The next workshop is February 25 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The topic is Polar Expedition: Wildlife in the Coldest Places on Earth: From polar bears and penguins to Arctic hares—kids will love learning about the animals that inhabit the coldest places of our planet! Join us for a cross-curricular exploration of polar wildlife. Kids will investigate the importance of blubber, solve Arctic riddles, count polar bears in a cave, and more!
