Grab a pumpkin and head down to the frog pond this coming Sunday, October 23 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Boston Parks and Rec is presenting the pumpkin festival in which 100’s of illuminated jack-o-lanterns will be floated on the water.
How can you join the pumpkin festival?
Bring an 8-inch or smaller carved pumpkin to help set the Frog Pond aglow. In addition, attendees of all ages are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and join in on the Spooky Parade.
You also be able to decorate halloween luminaire bags. Plus there will be scarily delicious treats and refreshments to try as well as games, crafts and more!
Pumpkins will be composted by Boston Natural Areas Network
