On one or more Saturdays a month Williams-Sonoma offers FREE cooking classes/demos for kids. At most stores, classes are at 10:00 am, but you must call your local store to register for the class, so you should confirm time then. These FREE kids cooking classes are suitable for ages 5-13, unless otherwise noted. In addition, occasionally they offer a special class that has a fee–in those cases, it will be noted in the description.
Plus parents of participants enjoy 10% savings on select same-day store purchases.
This month’s classes are:
- July 2: Ice Cream Shop — I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! In this super-fun class you’ll learn how easy it is to make your own ice cream—and it will taste way better than the store-bought kind. Suitable for ages 8–13.
- July 23: Tools and Techniques — Hey, kids! Learn how to use some cool kitchen tools, from a garlic press to a grater, as we cook some amazing recipes! You’ll be well equipped to prepare tasty meals for your family and friends.
Suitable for ages 8–13. NOTE: There is a $30 fee for this particular class, but each child gets their own Williams-Sonoma Junior Chef Gadget Set!
There are 6 Williams-Sonoma locations in the Boston area–Copley Plaza; Legacy Place, Dedham; Natick Collection; Burlington Mall; Marketstreet Lynnfield; and Derby Street Shoppes, Hingham. For more information or to find your nearest Williams-Sonoma check here.
