On January 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., head over to the Weston Ski Track in Weston for Winter Trails Day. This FREE event is an annual national event organized to introduce people to outdoor activities. There will be free snowshoeing demos and guided tours courtesy of EMS, and a free cross-country ski lesson for all pre-registered attendees who purchase a ski pass.
The Weston Ski Track is located on the site of the Leo J. Martin public golf course just off the Mass Pike and features 15km of trails for skiing and snowshoeing. When Mother Nature doesn’t do her part, snow making is available.
And remember — it’s only cold when you’re standing still.
