No need to hunt for things to do leading up to April 12, 2020 and beyond. We’re hopping with ways to celebrate Easter, from special Easter photos to Easter Bunny visits and story times.
East Somerville Egg Hunt
Create colorful eggs out of paper or draw them on a sidewalk. Easter egg templates are provided, as well as a hint to get you started. Display your eggs in a place where everyone can see them. When you spot an egg, take a photo and post it to the East Somerville Main Street Facebook page with the tag #SomervilleEggHunt. How many you can find? // April 8–14
WYWC Easter Egg Hunt Remix
Children can hunt for eggs displayed by community members, thanks to the Westwood Young Women’s Club. For Westwood residents who want to join in the fun, display Easter eggs in your windows, doors, on trees, on mailboxes, and in other spots by the morning of Saturday, April 11. You may keep them up until the evening of Sunday, April 12, or display them sooner and keep them up for a longer period. Remember to stay the recommended six feet distance from other families who may be hunting for eggs. // April 11, 8 a.m.–April 12, 8 p.m.
The Easter Bunny Visits Arlington
The Easter Bunny will walk and drive around the streets of Arlington, Massachusetts. View participating streets. // April 12, 2–5 p.m.

Easter Storytime from the Lewis Latimer House Museum
Author Adrienne Leslie, will lead viewers in a live Easter storytime adventure! Do Bunnies Lay Easter Eggs? Children will learn which animals lay eggs, what king started giving dyed eggs as gifts and how Easter got its name. // For children under 8 years old. // April 13, 2–2:30 p.m.
