A few stores and restaurants are offering discounts and freebies over the Memorial Day weekend. A few of the deals are only for military personnel or veterans, but some are available to anyone. Some of these deals aren’t specifically for Memorial Day, but they’re good this weekend. As more deals come in we’ll add them to the list, so make sure to check back often.
Check out these Boston-area Memorial Day discounts:
- 99 Restaurants: All day Monday, May 29, active-duty and retired military members can get enjoy a FREE meal from the $9.99 real meals menu with the purchase of a full-priced meal, with a military ID or proof of service.
There are also a couple of non-food related deals geared towards handy military veterans:
- Bass Pro Shops: Free fun family activities all day May 27-28.
- Canobie Lake Park: Anyone presenting a valid US Military ID can get in for just $10 on Saturday May 27 to Monday May 29.
- Home Depot: Active-duty, retired, veterans and their immediate families can get a 10% discount when shopping at Home Depot on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30. Ask for it at the register and have your veteran ID available to show.
- Lowe’s: Active-duty and veterans are eligible for a 10% discount when they shop at Lowe’s every day. Veterans must show their military ID to claim the discount.
- Joann Fabrics: Military members, veterans, and their families can get 10% off purchases. Must show their military ID
- Boston Museum of Fine Art: Free Admission during their Open House all Day Monday May 30.
- Blue Star Museums: Every summer beginning on Memorial Day and extending through Labor Day, more than 2,000 museums across America for the nation’s service members, including National Guard and Reserve, and their families.
