The Harvard Museum of Natural History is the most visited attraction at Harvard and there’s no wonder. It’s full of historical collections, permanent galleries, and a variety of temporary exhibitions. It’s a treasure trove of discoveries for kids of all ages, making it wonderful for family trips or solitary visits. Its mission of enhancing public understanding and appreciation of the natural world and the human place in it while sparking curiosity and a spirit of discovery in people of all ages is fitting.
Every Sunday morning (year-round) from 9:00 am to noon and on Wednesdays from 3:00 to 5:00 pm (September through May) Massachusetts residents can enter for FREE. Be prepared to present proof of residency and know this offer does not apply to commercial groups.
