The Emerson College’s Bright Lights Film Series is a FREE movie series that is open to the public. Films are shown at the Paramount Center’s Bright Family Screening Room at 559 Washington St.
When can you see a Bright Lights Film series movie?
All events are FREE and open to the public. They take place every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7:00 pm during the semester. When the college is closed (such as holidays, spring break, inclement weather) there are no screenings.

All screenings start at 7 pm and seating is first come, first served. There is no advance registration. You can find more information about screenings and updates on special guests here.
The Department of Visual and Media Arts at Emerson College sponsors the Bright Lights series. The mission of the series is to provide engaging visual media related events to the Emerson College and Boston community. These events range from screening of student, faculty and alumni work. Also, the the work of local, national and international artists and demonstrations, lectures, discussions and presentations by industry professionals. Bright Lights creates an environment where visual media is viewed and appreciated. In addition, a dialogue is fostered and a community of media makers, academics and aficionados are engaged and supported.
