Election Day deals and discounts in Boston -UPDATE

I’ve added a few more Election Day deals you may want to check out–ice cream, pizza, burgers, and more.

Bargain hunters always vote for savings. No matter who you choose for office, it’s very important you vote.  Once you’ve done your duty and cast your ballot, a few businesses will reward you with a special offer. The offers are only valid on November 8 at participating locations. As always, be sure to double-check participation or offer details, if you’re unsure.

Here are the election day deals in the Boston area:

• Regal Cinemas. See Harrison Ford’s “Air Force One” for just $5 on Election Night at select locations. Regal Crown Club members also get 50% off any size popcorn.
• YMCA. Select locations are offering FREE child care services, so parents can vote.
• 7-Eleven is giving away FREE coffee on election day when you use their mobile app.
• Lyft is offering 45% off a single ride on election day between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm for Boston riders.  Registered users can access the promotion from the “Deal of the Week” email you’ll receive Sunday night. Not registered, go ahead and sign up now–there’s no cost or register. Plus, if you’re new to Lyft, the use the code NOVEMBER8TH to receive $5 off your first 10 rides.
• Bertucci’s is giving away FREE cannoli with entree purchase, while supplies last.
• Ben & Jerry’s is selling $1.00 scoops of Empower Mint ice cream.
• At Upper Crust Pizzeria you can get a FREE fountain drink with any purchase if you show your “I Voted” sticker.
• Get your Special Election Burgers for just $5.00 all day long at the Bar at Cafeteria Boston.
