Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

This free event honoring Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. takes place at Historic Faneuil Hall on Monday, January 18th beginning at 1:00 pm.  It features storytelling and music by the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra and Boston Poet Laureate Danielle Legros Georges, among others.  The Keynote Speaker is Topper Carew – Civil Rights Activist, Filmmaker and MIT Scholar.  It is presented by the Mayor’s Office, the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, and the Museum of African American History.
