The Boston Public Market is an indoor, year-round market offering all of us fresh, locally sourced food from more than 35 New England farmers, fishermen, and food purveyors, including almost 300 farm goods produced on over 7,000 acres of land.

Plus you can get a FREE one-hour guided tour of the market. On the tours, which change seasonally, you can learn about about the story behind the market, explore the space, and meet the makers who grow, catch, brew, raise, cultivate, bake, ferment, cook, and harvest the food you’re buying. The tours are given on a first come, first serve basis for anywhere from 5 to 20 people, you can sign up here.
The tours are Thursdays: 6:30-7:30 pm and Saturdays: 10:30-11:30 am. You can meet your tour guide at the Info Desk, located by the main entrance at the corner of Congress Street and Hanover
Street.
The market is open 5 days a week–Wednesday through Sunday, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, making it easy to visit it no matter your schedule. The market is located at 100 Hanover Street at Haymarket Station.
The Boston Public Market will provide year-round access to fresh, healthy food to consumers of all income levels. Boston Public Market vendors are proud to accept SNAP/EBT for all eligible market products. The Boston Public Market is also proud to participate in the City of Boston’s Bounty Bucks program. The Boston Bounty Bucks program provides a dollar for dollar match for SNAP customers to spend at participating farmers markets and the Boston Public Market.
The Boston Public Market is the only locally sourced market of its kind in the United States. Everything sold at the Market is produced or originates in New England. The Market is a civic resource, educating the public about food sources, nutrition, and preparation.
Parking
If you’re driving and need to park, the Boston Public Market is located directly above the Haymarket MBTA station (Orange and Green Lines, MBTA bus routes) and three blocks from North Station (Commuter Rail & Amtrak, Orange and Green Lines). Bike parking is located directly outside the Market on the plaza opposite the Greenway. Two Hubway bike share stations are located nearby, on Cross Street across the Greenway and on Congress Street along the side of City Hall.
Directly above the Market is the Parcel 7 Parking Garage (entrance at 110 New Sudbury Street). The Boston Public Market validates parking for Parcel 7, with proof of purchase, for a rate of $3 for up to 3 hours. In addition, the Government Center Garage, located at 50 New Sudbury Street, is next door to the Market.
